Natural Hair Matters So Protect It in the Cold Weather: Protective Styles for Different Hair Types

The Winter is rough on your body and your hair is NO different. Most of us already know this, but sometimes it is difficult to style your hair for the winter weather OR we get tired of wearing the same protect styles under our hats, beanies and hoods. So, I decided to give two tips to "help a sistah out" and I did some searching on the world wide web and find some SIMPLE and EASY protective styles for different hair types.
There are a two simple rules in creating protective styles that have worked for me:

1. Twist or Braid: these techniques work the best as they help the hair to keep in the oils, butters and water that we use to moisturize our hair
2. KISS: it's not what it sounds like...it stands for Keep. It. Simple. Sweetheart. Don't go over board in the protective style has the style will go underneath a hat, beanie or hood and certain protective styles don't look good under hats, beanies or hoods.

Disclaimer: We do not endorse any of the natural's in anyway, we are only suggesting their styling techniques as an option. As with everything in life, try them for yourself and see if they work for you.
